Famous for its Mediterranean beach resorts and casinos and lively nightlife of Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo, the French Riviera boasts a sunny mild climate and sandy beaches. Beyond the hustle and bustle of the French Riviera, the region of Provence and the Cote d’Azur offers a sunny, bright region of mountains and coastline with quaint hilltop cities and lively towns boasting medieval fortresses and roman ruins. Cities such as Marseille, St. Tropez and Aix are well known for their nightlife, glamour and excitement and make attractive places for holiday homes and property investments.

Additionally, the area can be reached in only two hours from Paris travelling on the high speed TGV train, but it is also well served by regional airports.
The city of Lyon dates back to roman times and is a true Renaissance city and is well served by both museums and shops. The area is also famous for both its cuisine, wine and other beverages including Chartreuse and regional wines; the vineyards and golden stone villages of Beaujolais are located just outside Lyon.
The Rhone Alps region presents an extraordinary natural environment that without parallel: stunning mountains offering some of the finest and most extensive skiing areas in the world such as the Three Valleys, Val d'Isère and Chamonix alongside lush valleys filled with orchards and the vineyards of Beaujolais and the Rhone Valley. Additionally the area has great river ways and scores of crystal clear lakes, deep gorges and high plateaux of the Ardèche which is littered with prehistoric caves alongside national parks full of deep forests and flower-filled meadows.
Home to the towns of Montpellier, Perpignan, Nimes and Carcassone, the Region boasts Roman monuments, Greek ruins, medieval castles and ancient villages set in between vineyards that produce the regions famous wines, farmlands, mountains and plateaus.
