About the Region
The Midi-Pyrenees in the southwest of France comprises the departements of Lot, Aveyron, Tarn, Tarn et Garonne, Gers, Haute Garonne, Hautes Pyrenees and Ariege, bordering Spain at its Southern end.
The capital of the region is Toulouse, a lively city with great shops, restaurants and cafes.
