Champagne comprises the five departements of Ardennes, Aisne, Marne, Haut Marne and Aube and the area is obviously best known for its sparkling wine named bearing the region’s name: Champagne. The towns of Troyes (capital of Champagne), Reims and Épernay are the commercial centres of the area. The area is approximately 100 miles East of Paris making it an interesting area to own a home with plenty of towns and countryside to see.
