The departements in Burgundy are Saone et Loire, Yonne, Cote d’Or and Nievre and this is obviously the region from where the wonderful well known Burgundy wines emanate, from t attractive towns such as Macon, Beaune and Chablis as well as being equally well known for it’s Dijon mustard. The region offers wonderful countryside and is within striking distance of the ski areas of the Alps.
